No way .... took it to MIL's house and asked if they could just leave it in the cupboard ..... of course that was too hard for her and had to get it out and look etc.
But at least hubby didn't see it till I walked down the aisle.

That was the biggest surprise of all!!!! The only people who saw it was my mum, MIL even my BMaids didnt see it - oh, only one of them did!
It was funny too coz i asked DH to describe what he thought id wear - NOTHING like what i showed up at the beach in! So he was super surprised!:smiliedance:

Yep sure did. We got ready together, had photos taken together before the ceremony and he drove me there.
I only picked up my wedding dress two days before the wedding, showed him it the day before but he didn't actually see it on until the actual day.
It didn't bother me in the slightest that he saw it. The surprise was actually for everyone else. I only let my mum and dad see the dress....it wasn't white...it was bright pink and green and DH had organised the whole wedding and everyone knew about my day except me (I didn't know the venue or anything) so that was my surprise to everyone!
Yep - never believed the superstition thing!

How nice is it to walk down the aisle with the man you're about to marry? I loved it and wouldn't have had it any other way! We lived together for 6 years before getting hitched...it just would've been weird for us to not get ready together, and be in bed together the night before etc.
 nope i kept it at my parents house i wanted him yo be suprised

Hell, no!
In fact I barely saw it finished before the day!
My aunt made it for me from a pattern. I bought all the odds and ends for it, but when she came to doing the buttons, the ones specified on the pattern envelope were not right, they were too big.
So on New Year's Eve, 48 hours before the wedding, I was at Chadstone buying different buttons.
I spent the night before the wedding at my grandmother's. When I got there, my aunt had the dress on the table, I sewed the buttons on one sleeve, my grandmother sewed the buttons on the other sleeve, and my aunt sewed the buttons on the back! This was about 14 hours before the morning wedding!

No, it was a surprise. I wanted him to stay at home with me and for us to get ready together, but his family took over and we were apart... I wish I had seen DH before we got married!
His family are always disorganised and running late.. he had tied his tie about 4 inches too short, looks really dorky in all the photos!
Yep :D It was in the wardrobe next to his suit. I came up stairs and seen him after I had my hair done and I had done my makeup. He still cried when I walked down the isle.

Ours was exactly the same. Wouldnt change it for the world!

Yes he did. I got my dress overseas and boarded the plane with the gown. So everyone on the plane seen it too! LOL
My dh still shed tears when he saw me walking down the isle in the gown. We've been married 3 years now and still happily together with our gorgeous little boy.:)
he had ample chance to as I hung it right next to our front door so it wouldnt crease but he didnt want to look so shielded his eyes walking in and out

That's a great story, I've never heard of a DH organising everything and leaving it all as a surprise! I shoulda done that

I offered to show DH a peice of material I had with me while the dress was being adjusted... but he didn't even want to see that!
He was right into the not-seeing-it-before-the-wedding thing. He just wanted a surprise.
I'm glad I stopped hassling him about it! I loved the look on his face as I walked down the isle in that dress...

No way... I didnt even pick my dress up until the day before my wedding and I didnt even show it to my bridesmaids until the big day.
Mum, My sister, MIL & FIL saw it beforehand and that is it.
No but he had an idea of what it would be like because he knew my style (simple, uncomplicated)

Yep.Everytime he walks into our room...there it is.I bought it yesterday and couldn't wait for him to see it.It's perfect. It's actually my second dress. The first one,I ordered over the internet and when it arrived and I tried it on it was just...wrong.It didn't sit right and when I tried to take it off...the zip stuck half way down.It took 10minutes,lots of praying and tears and eventually a pair of pliers to get it off.Talk about panic!!

Nope, he had no idea what I would be wearing, until I was actually walking up the aisle! I knew what he was going to be wearing, but was still stunned at the sight of him (I remember 'whispering' to my parents, who were walking me up the aisle - "Oh, he looks GORGEOUS!", and about 80% of my guests told me after the wedding that they heard me :o LOL.)
My DH looked really nervous as we walked into the room (I could see him, but he couldn't see me at that stage), and I had been having panic attacks on the way in - but, as soon as our eyes met, we both just.....felt good. It was right :) And then when I reached him, he 'whispered' "You look BEAUTIFUL!", which about 80% of the guests heard too
It was a beautiful experience - and I'm glad we did it that way, although I'm sure if he'd known what I was wearing it STILL would have been special and beautiful :)

yep. but not intentionally. I had taken photos of me in it when I tried it on to send back home to my family (I was o/s at the time).
The photos arrived and he looked at them, not realising that they were in there!
I was a bit upset, but he says as soon as he saw the first, he stopped looking and put them back.
We've not had any bad luck or anything tho.
Yep cheeky bugga!!!
And he saw me as i was getting dressed... grrr i was angry.
We ran away with a small group of family and friends to an Island to get married and he came back to our room as i was getting ready.
NOT HAPPY JAN!!!
At the end of the day it didnt really matter obviously
no way... but it was in another state for quite some time before the wedding so it wasn't really a problem
