Swimming & Spa's

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows at what age you can take your baby to swim in a chlorinated pool and baby swim class. Also I have a chlorinated spa and wondering how old before I can put my baby in with me as I am worried about the chemicals and his skin. I would bath him straight away afterwards to wash it off.:confused:

Has anyone had experience with this.

Hi Debster,

My local swim school starts classes from 5 months of age. There is no signage etc regarding chemicals, but I asked our teacher and she said she recommends rinsing bubs off under the shower at the pool with a bit of baby soap before going home.

Swimming lessons with bubs are the absolute highlight of my week, we have so much fun! Hope you both enjoy it too. :)

The swim class sounds like fun! I will see how I go with bubs and rinse him, I guess I will soon know if he becomes blotchy or anything.
