longer than af due to get bfp??

Who got :bfn: when af was due, but got a :bfp: when af still didn't arrive? how long did it take for that 2nd line to appear?

Hi there. I haven't had any experience with this, but I've heard some women can wait weeks until after AF due before they get their BFP. So don't give up hope yet! :fingerscrossed:

When I was preg with dd I tested on the day I missed af got a negetive result, now that I look back I thought it was cause I didnt wait longer enough but when I did a test a few days after I got a BPF straight away:confused: so Maybe some of us ladies need a bit longer

Some women take longer to build up enough HGC I think?? with me I know thats the case I can never get early tests even if Im preg, you'd think Id learn hey and wait till I miss af but I test and test just encase I can find out a llittle sooner.....Give it 2 days and test again id say.

Did you use the same Test again? Maybe the 2nd one has a lower senetivity level??? Ive heard the best time to test is 10 after a missed period.

I hope you get the result you want...Im in the same boat waiting for Af in 2 days all symtops of pregnancy and I keep getting a bfn.....waiting sucks :(

tested yesterday around midday....at the shops mind you...you know how it is as soon as you buy the test you have to use it. i used the discover brand and detects 25 whatever they are (i think), so i think thats pretty low. my bladder wasnt too full, so maybe the urine was too diluted??? (tmi) i'll hold out till thurs morn, my husband due home friday morn. hopefully one or the other will turn up by then :fingerscrossed:

It depends on how much HCG is in your body. It differs for everyone! I didn't get a :bfp: with my DS until I was two days late for AF but this pregnancy I got a :bfp: a whole six days before AF was due!

I too am late for AF (due yesterday), but test says:bfn: I have cramps, but lots of CM. I have stopped the pill only a month ago, so maybe it is still my body trying to work itself out but I wish one or the other would show. How confusing!:confused: I hope you get your:bfp: soon.

think af on her way. have had period pain all day, and very very slight brown spotting (only when wipe). i'm being strong not to test again till thurs, as prob just a late af. last time we bd'd was 26th july (husband works away), so too long to be implantation i think.

Hi girls....... Out of my last 4 pregnancies a second line didnt show up until 2 weeks after af was due.
Shannysmum..:fingerscrossed: crossed theres a very special reason for the both of us for af being so late...DF and i also last bd on the 26, 27 july..Apart from a day and a bit of bleeding,ive still had nothing in the way of an Af..
Hopefully af stays away for you and you'll soon get your BFP.
Im having a b/t on wednesday if af is nice enough to stay away.

i think i'm out though, did another hpt and negative again. started minutely spotting yesterday and a bit more today, which is how i normally begin my af so hopefully you'll have much more luck than i!!!
