Private ob in Bundaberg

I'm moving to Bundaberg and will need an obstetrician. If anyone knows of a good one I would love to hear from you. Also need to know which hospitals are good??

Hi there

We are also moving to Bundy....I am currently pregnant with no.3 and due in Jan.

I checked out the private ob situation in Bundy....not alot of choice really. I was told that because of a couple of obs retiring, there is only one left.....apparently he mostly does public but he has a private clinic 1 and a half days a week......his name is Dr Betz.

As for the hospitals....apparently one of the private hospitals used to have a private wing but it shut down last year......so all births happen at the Bundaberg Base Hospital.

Sorry I couldn't be the bearer of happier news....I would contact Dr Betz soon, because with only limited private practice time, he may be hard to get into....good luck!
