So I've heard the original swaddlebees are a very trim nappy. If this is the case would it be wiser to buy a small or a medium for my newborn? She's already hit 5kg! I was thinking the medium but wanted you girls' opinions before I parted with my dollars.
And also how do they compare to other pockets?

I would have thought Medium.. I brought a Newborn one and it is TINY! Chris and I are not sure that our bub wont be too fat at birth to fit into it! ( I think the site said 3-6kg for the small? Don't quote me on that)

I love my swaddlebees but yes I agree sizing up would be a good idea.
They are very trim and great for under clothes.
Have you looked at the Bumgenious one size pocket? It's still trim (not as small as a SB) and is one size too, so you wont need to buy more as your bub grows.

The swaddlebees sure do LOOK tiny... but you'll surprised that they do actually fit.
My 15.5kg daughter fits into a large and I can do it up on the tightest setting. It's hte smallest looking nappy she owns... it looks so tiny!
TBH, I'd get a medium. Even if she can't fit into it for a while, I think it'll last longer...

TinyStar, DD already has a BG pocket and MIL is going to buy me some more. :smiliedance:
I just like trying out different brands that are trim, plus i prefer snap closure.
i wonder if BG will ever bring out the nappy with snaps??
