Blowing noses

Does anyone have any hints on teaching a 2.5 year old to blow their nose? My little one is not doing it yet and I think it is one of the hardest things to teach a child. I have an older one and cannot remember how I taught her. The little one gets alot of asthma due to not being able to get rid of the mucus in her nose when she has a cold. Any techniques would be much appreciated.

Hi,
I make a game out of it, I showed my little boy how you can make a funny noise by sort of pretenting to sneeze(I was really animated)? I gave him a tissue and I had one as well. We took turns blowing hard out our nose and I would say now wipe mums nose and he would do it(followed by big yea!!!!). Then I say 'you go' and he would mimik me(followed by big yea!!!!) and I would wipe his nose. Now (he has only just turned 2) he gets the tissue or Toliet paper and blows his nose himself just for a little light entertainment:D But if he has a runny nose from hay fever (he hasn't had a cold yet) I give him the tissue and say OK you blow and he does. (its abit yukky to start with but thats mothehood:rolleyes: )
