Hello!

My name is Melinda. I'm 16 years old. I don't have children. I'm not pregnant.
'Then why would you be on this forum?' some of you may ask..

Well I came here on the 24th of January to start a topic on menstrual cups (PM if you want to know more about them) so you gals on here would be informed of them. I did start the topic. It was a big hit, got up to, what, 42 pages? or something insane like that...
Mostly everyone thought it was a bit strange for 16 yr old girl to come onto a forum like this and post a topic on menstrual cups. I don't blame them really, I am a little out-of-the-ordinary, if I do say so myself.
At the end of that topic people were accusing me of being someone else.. they thought I was some old (well, middle-aged) lonely man who still lived with his mummy.
I did go out of my way to try and prove that I was who I said I was, and consiquently (sp?) being rude by posting a PM on the board. I'm sorry about that.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I thought I'd come back on new and fresh and tell everyone who read that long topic of mine (and anyone el) I'll update you with how I go with it.

If you don't want to believe me, then that's fine, but hopefully through time you'll realise I wasn't lying.

However, I start school tomorow so I probably wont be on much.

- Melinda

Hi:)

Welcome back. I think you're for real:) Seems to me like you're a 16 year old girl who has certain passions and through her upbrining has been allowed and encouraged to develop them (I understand that you go to a Steiner school?) I think its great that you can talk to people of all ages - more power to ya!:D

Yes, I do go to a Steiner School. Yeah.. I think my upbringing has been pretty good, if I do say so myself.

Thanx for the welcome, I've been a little afraid that people could start accusing me again, but then I thought 'why would some old lonely man be that persistant'.

In fact I don't feel really comfortable to talking to some ages, but thats face to face, on the internet it's a lot easier. But I think I'd have no trouble talking to you guys face to face anyway.

It's some lyrics in a song out of the animated Thumbelina movie. I haven't seen the movie in ages, but I downloaded the music. Jodi Benson does the voice, and she sounds so great! I love the hope/optimism in that lyric aswell, she also sounds awsome in it.

I would have put American Beer Is Like Making Love In A Canoe - (punch line = It's F****ng Close To Water, which I wouldn't include in the sigg). But people saw that as a proof of me being some old male, so I decided not to use that...
I love Monty Python tho, they are hilarious!

And that's about the life-story of my sig...

I wasn't on here when you posted before, but that doesn't bother me anyway! Hello!

This board is primarily for mums I guess, but I don't see any reason why anyone else should be excluded, so welcome!
:p
