Hi

Just to wanted to share with you all that I went back to work today - I am working three days a week and I am very proud to still be breastfeeding my DD morning and night on those three days!! I was really worried that it wouldnt work but last week it worked and so far this week it is working as well. She takes a bottle for lunch at daycare on those three days as I cant express because my boobies just dont put out!

With DS I had to give up after six months and I comped him due to bad advice from the health nurse and I vowed that I would breastfeed the next one until they self weaned and so far I have made it to 9months:smiliedance:

I can't meet you for lunch anymore as we are in Canberra now but I am sure that you will find plenty of lunchmates now that you are back in the city!

The working breastfeeding mummy this is such a tough gig but the benefits are SO great!!

And I love mentioning breastfeeding to someone and they say "Oh, I thought you'd gone back to work." then telling them that it CAN be done!

its awesome hearing that its actually possible to continue breastfeeding and go back to work.
i was just thinking about this today, i want to go to work but i dont wnt to stop breastfeeding, im enjoying it this time around and so is bub !

Well done on staying committed to your dream of continuing to breastfeed your DD. That is excellent and a wonderful example to anyone contemplating going back to work but wanting to continue BFing.
