I have a doctors visit at 330 today so i am not overly too concerned but last night after i had a shower i could see spots, got a shocking headache and just felt off in general i thought it was just me having an anxiety attack as when little things happen i tend to panic if that makes sense. Anyhow i took a panadol and it passed and i felt semi ok just fluey. I do have a mild flu at the moment just a little stuffy though nothing major.

Anyhow today around lunchtime i had lunch felt headachy and just off again in general and have had the big black spots again. I have never had anything like this before its kinda scary i dont feel really bad just have a dull headache and tired

Should i be worried? Seems odd that its happened two times with the same symptoms thats all and this dull headache hits right on my forehead. I havent had PE ever before and i am general healthy over all.

Your thoughts please :) i feel like cr!p umm maybe i should add, one way of describing it is trying to adjust my eyes to the light afterwalking inside to a dark room from being outside...does that makes sense?

Well yeah when you are pregnant it can be a sign of PE when with High Blood pressure, but I get the spots thing in front of my eyes before I get a migraine. It sucks and there isn't much I can do about it...

If possible I would lie down in a dark area until you go to the doctors. I hope everything is ok. :hugs: :fingerscrossed:

Seeing spots and lightheadness and dizziness all happened to me later in my pregnancy.

Problem was solved at the next appointment:

I had extremely low blood pressure and was told to take it easy and not to drive. Also had lowish iron but not that low but still took iron tablets too.

I got spots before my eyes and actually blacked out a few times towards the end of my pregnancy with DD. Went to the hospital but they couldnt find a cause for it. My iron levels were fine but they put me on more iron tablets anyway just in case. They just told me not to drive and take it easy

I hope everything is ok :hugs:

i seen spots and had really bad headaches and swelling of the hands and feet when i was pregnant with DD1 and i ended up with high blood pressure and had to be induced. But i was 36 weeks.

Good luck with the doctors, hopefully its not high blood pressure

I saw spots at the end of my pregnancy too - turned out that it was low iron - so keep up the red meat!

They asked me about these with my pre eclampsia. I found it was at its worst when I was in the shower.... as long as you are getting it checked up and perhaps if it is ungoing trying not to shower when home alone....

Yeah, I had severe PE with my DS, he was born at 30 weeks. I am now 30 weeks with DS2 and have just started getting symptoms again. One of the symptoms is definately spots before your eyes, and headache is another one. So just as well you're getting checked out. It's quite serious, and anyone else with similar symptoms should call their doctor asap.
