A friend with quite complicated health issues including PCOS had great success with David Lingard. I had him as my OB for delivering DD2 and was happy with him - very calm and relaxed and reassuring. (I have PCOS but DD2 was an accident happily!

Hi

I highly recommend Dr John Hemming on wickham terrace in Brisbane. He comes out here where I live(in kingaroy) and has helped tonnes of women. He was very resassuring and explained everything fully to me.

Gloodluck!

My GP sent me to the Royal Women's Fertilty Clinic. Not many people are aware it exists.Mind you this was in the old hospital but I imagine it is being continued now. I paid nothing and the care was excellent. I went on to be a Trial patient using a drug for diabetics called Metformin in association with Clomid. We didn't know whether we were getting a placebo or not but i started feeling weird symptoms whilst taking it so i figured i had the real mc coy....and i did....i fell pregnant first month on it after a year on clomid:D

Ask your GP if they still run it.You could always start there
cheers jen

Well Dr Glenn Stirling is supposed to be one of the best! My best friend has been seeing him for awhile now (her problems were alot more serious then PCOS) and is now 10weeks pregnant. Apparently he is very easy to talk to and has a great sense of humour!

P.S. Rumour has it he is supposed to be extremely gorgeous!!! :p

I also went to Glen Sterling, he is brilliant.

He has been able to achieve our dream of pregnancy (yeah I'm 24w) when other doctors told us that we would need a donor. We did IVF and it worked first time. I would recommend him. He is very easy to talk to and he actually listens too not like some doctors.

Leni_ski - Have you heard the saying don't believe everything you read?? There is always two sides to every story....

Leni_ski, do you know these people? Seems strange that your only 2 posts on bubhub are to talk about this particular incident. What's your motive?

Just curious....

Cosmic - I agree with you! Not sure on what the motive is but I don't think it is right to continue spreading such stories unless they have the fact to back it all up. :shame:

Hi there! This is my first post, so I hope I'm doing it right.:fingerscrossed:
If you are looking for a female doctor I go to Dr Neroli Ngenda at the McCullough Centre at Sunnybank. She is great. :) Very thorough with her facts, practical with her advice. She is young-ish too, which I found refreshing.
I was diagnosed with PCOS in June last year. I am starting my first round of medication this week (my choice for the delay...I tried a few other natural remedies first). Unfortunately they didn't work for me...:(
Good luck!
