 everyone,
I'm new to this site, and am desperate to find some groups for bub and me to explore.

He is a very happy and friendly little man whom I adore but the constant lack of sleep (I still get up to him up to 4 times a night) is driving me a little :hair:

He is turning 1 at end of this month happybirthday and has not started walking yet (unlike my older daughter who is now 9 years of age). He has also skipped crawling and gets everywhere he wants by rolling and spinning on his tummy.

I found a Gymbaroo (only 1 on the Coast now) at Toukley but it's on at 12noon on a Thursday and was wondering is there any low cost alternatives to this for a baby who doesn't walk yet that may be a bit closer to Mardi?

We are also new to the area of Mardi and I don't know many people up here and all my other friends are either working or busy doing other things or now live too far away to be able to see during school hours.

PS. If anyone is interested in joining a mums and bubs group in Mardi who has a baby around 1 year of age please let me know.

Can anyone help me out?

Kind regards,

nemosmum

Hi

We were going to move up there late last year so i investigated some groups/activities etc

I know there is a playgroup at Mardi community or neighbourhood centre (BUT I hear its got a wait list lol so get in quick hehehe)
There is also one run at tuggerah primary school which is apparently very very good

check them out on the playgroup australia site they will give you times days and contact details

also there is a library at tuggerah near the shopping centre that has story times for 0-3yr olds that is worth a look also

Plus why not look for a swim class at your local pool? its coming on summer and thats a great way to meet new mums and bubs

ok gd luck with it:wave:

I live on the coast  Don't go to anything other than swimming with my 2yr old though, so not sure of playgroups etc.

Here is the coast section where we advertise meets etc
