Several weeks ago my bub started refusing the breast, but then seemed to sort herself out..

Now she is refusing it again, but she also cries when I lay her on her back after a feed. She would much rather sit up.

She rarely brings up food, but I was wondering if these other symptoms could be reflux?

Crib used to be elevated, but as she grew she ended up rolling to one side of crib (despite snuggly support)

I might take her to Doc for check up on Mon.

I thought reflux was when the baby brought up there drink after there feed. Sounds like it might be something else. Best to check with the Doctor or chemist if you cant see your doctor. Best luck with it

Sounds like bub has a bit of wind or colic when feeding keep elevated and even after the feed keep elevated and tap baby on the back to bring the wind up.My daughter had colic and reflux and when she burped she brought up all her milk. There is some natural medicine for colic and wind that you can get from the chemist just ask them what they reccomend if ur interested.

Hi,

Both my kids had/have reflux. DD had the full on vomiting kind but rarely any pain to speak of and my 8 week old DS has silent reflux which means he brings his food up into his throat, it burns his aesophagus coming up and going down. He was associating food with pain so wouldn't drink properly either. Both my kids had to be on Zantac to help strenghten the muscle at the top of the stomach to keep the food down. Seems to go away by six months.

I have to keep DS elevated after a feed and pretty much whenever he is awake. He also has a really unsettled period between 5-9 when all his wind etc builds up. Not fun.

You may need to see a doctor about it. There is also a great natural colic relief if you want to try that first. It's "Brauer Colic Relief". Really good stuff and tastes yummy (i think).

Good luck. Reflux is a hard one to sort out but just keep plugging along and you'll find what works for you.
