For the last few nights my poor son has been waking up at around 4am and just crying/screaming like he is in pain, we change his nappy, give him bonjella but doesnt seam to help. hubby said if it happens again to try panadol. It doesnt matter if he is in his cot or our bed either, disposable or cloth. His 2 bottom teeth are really close at coming through. would that be the cause of his pain at 4am??? and if its not how do we stop him from waking up like this. he has a bit of a cough but doesnt cough when he wakes at 4am. thank you for the advice.

Honestly, if you said that he settles in your bed, I would just tell you to let him cry because he is just playing you, but since he won't settle at all...mmmm I would dose him up with panadol or nurafen before bed, if it is teething related hopefully this will get him through the night. Can't hurt to try? Goodluck :)

Babies "play you" ? Surely not, that sounds a bit ridiculous \(no offense)!
My DS is the same age, and doing the exact same thing. I put it down to two teeth coming through.
Good luck!
