South West Sydney Ob's

Hi there,
I'm just wondering if anyone could recommend a good Ob. in the Liverpool area. I have moved up from Melbourne and don't have any contacts here and would love to find a really good Ob. Thanks :)

I don't live in Sydney, but if you ring the hospital you wish to go to, ask the maternity unit which OB's practise there and who, in their opinion, they would see.

If you can get in touch with the midwives in the unit they would know who is good to work with (I am a nurse myself, and since we work closely with Dr's we generally have a more than fair idea who is decent ;) ).

Make sure you book in early with both the hospital and OB or you could miss out on who you want, as they only take so many each month.

Hi Katie

I become a first time mum in December last year. I gave birth in Sydney South West Private (Liverpool) and had Dr Simon McCaffrey as my OB. I certainly would recommend him.

I didn't use an OB for my 2, however my close friend use Dr Bova in Liverpool (he delivers at both the public and the private hospital there) and was very happy with him.
