hey ladies..i just read one of the threads about how a couple of your bubs got into the golden circle range of food (or should i say on the labels):p
DOES ANY1 know anywhere that takes infants on in PERTH??
Its so much harder here than in Sydney and Brissie and Melb.
Perth just doesnt have any kids agencies....
The modelling agencies here mainly take bubbies from about 3 - 4 onwards....

Hey HippyChick

I am also a biast mum (I think my son is just edible) and any information on Perth Modelling sites would be greatly appreciated...

I hadn't even considered modelling... but a few mums in my mother group suggested it to me... (my bubs smiles on demand.. it's adorable)

I want to just get some information at this point... I am not looking for Mogs (Morgan) to be the next male baby prodigy!! lol

ive been to spiers for their open casting...its $80 for the pics...however its 5wks since Ive been and i still havent received the pics..nor do I know anything about what work, (if any) they get or their fees, in fact I havent been told anything. I think there is only one other agency in Perth that takes kids under 3yrs and realy i think its because there is so little work available in Perth its just not worth their while. My personal opinion is that there is no point them charging $500 to be on their books as there is no demand so they just have a few 'token' babies just in case. I think you woud be better off just entering competitions in Parenting magazines!! or moving interstate :)

I have modled for 13 years and am now based back in Perth. My daughter has modelled since she was 9 months (4 yrs now) but to be truthful, 75% of her work has been thru my clients knowing I have her!
There aren't any 'kids agencys' in Perth anymore and most agencys will only take them from 3-4years old. The work is VERY limited here as the majority of the target etc are shot in Melbourne or over East. Betts kids is shot here through my agency, but all other agencys have their kids casted for other work. It should cost no more than around $80 to have your child put onto the casting books, that will include 'casting' shots that the agency keep.
I teach modelling at my agency too and we have classes for 3+ which is always good to get a foot in the door as we can get to know them and build up their confidence while they have fun and as mum's you get to understand what is involved with it all...hope this helps..x:ecomcity:

Hi, I'm new to all this but I have my daughter in with Krissie Westwood in Balcatta and paid for the casting shoot but have never heard anything back. So if anyone does know anywhere that takes 18 month olds it would be great!! :smiliedance:

Hi

I have had some experience with Spiers

My daughter Holly was in an ad a couple of years ago, it was an ad recruiting nurses and had a catchy little song something like "You are the one, ....the one..." can't remember the rest lol.

She was also auditioned for the RAC ad where the car comes crashing in to the house, but didn't want to co operate.

She was also in a Moda Bambini catalogue as well.

We found them very good, but never had her shots re done. It was my husbands idea and something he often brags about , but I personally didn't like the idea of it.

Some parents get very upset when their kids aren't picked and thats what I don't like about it all, its kind of like the whole baby competition thing.

HTH
