Dorothy the dinosaur is comming to nambour at the civic center, this month.
I'll find out exactly when if anyone would like to know.

I definitely am interested in taking the kids to this! :yes:

I've heard about it from several different people, but juts haven't gotten around to finding out about tickets etc. I've heard you can only get them from the Civic centre itself, or you can buy them online (but they are a bit dearer).

I just checked out an email I was sent recently by a friend at playgroup & she said it's on the 24th Aug. But I don't have any other details.

I called them & there are still tickets available for both shows, but there are more tickets available for the 11.30 than the 9.30.

I was going to book over the phone, but they charge a $5 credit card fee, so I thought seeing I'm in Nambour on Thurs morning anyway, I might just go in there & then I can see what seating is available & decide whether to get tickets for the 9.30 or 11.30.

Just remember there are no prams allowed! To hard to get them up the stairs anyway as I found out yesterday as there are no elevators :mad:

well you wont miss eliana i her dorothy gear - no sooner had i told her we were going had she run down to her room & produced dorothy clothing to wear - had even gotten elysia a tshirt! just glad i havent told her we are going to the wiggles in december - there is only so much dorothy clothing i can stand & december is tooooooo far away

The only Dorothy gear Claire has are her Dorothy PJ's (God, I hope she's not going to want to wear those!!! :eek:)

Claire has a minor Dora obsession going at the moment, but all things Wiggles are right up there!

I so desperately wanted to get tickets for the concert in December but I didn't have the money when they went on sale. :( I haven't even bothered looking to see if there are any left. I doubt there would be.

I was in Kmart today & they had some Dorothy clothes out the front (must be trying to cash in!! :laughing:) Since all their kids stuff is 25% off at the moment, I thought I'd buy Claire a nice Dorothy top for Friday (yeah, they got me!!) She loves it so much! I chucked it in the washing basket so that I can wash it before Friday & she kept pulling it out! lol

BTW, I checked last night for Wiggles tix & you can still get them, but they're in the nosebleed section, so I didn't bother. :( Oh well, maybe next year.

hi. you are able to take prams, you just have to leave them in the lobby just outside the doors, there is a wheel chair access off to the side of the civic centre

we will be at the 11;30 one now too - mum managed to change the tickets eliana won to the later show - i honestly didnt know how i was going to make it to nambour by 9:30 so will look out for you girls - i will also have my mum, capt feathersword nephew & niece - eliana will have a dorothy tutu on - prob like every other little girl there!

Sorry everyone, There is not a wheel chair access in the civic center. There are stairs to the side and only have 3 or 4 steps.
But you are able to take prams and leave them in the foyer.

U bet im going to storm the stage!!! Mum said I stormed the stage when I was 2 years old watching Humprehey B Bear! Nothings changed! :laughing:
