I'm bottle feeding. I breast fed for the first week.
Yep me too, bottle feeding. I did breast feed for the first week, but now am bottle feeding. Sometimes I wish I had made more effort breast feeding & wish I was doing that now then other times I am really glad that I bottle feed rather than breast feed. I think that with my next bubs I will try to breast feed for longer.
Hayleysmum- Have you tried the TommyTippee bottles that have the teat that is large & similar to a breast? I have a friend that uses them & she found them a great help when weaning her bub from breast to bottle.

I couldn't breastfeed due to badly inverted nipples so I pumped every 3 hours for 3 and a half weeks.
Now I bottle feed.

Breast, which suits me because of my organisational skills, I'd go out and forget a bottle or the formula or something. I'm flat out making sure there are enough nappies and change of clothes for the 2 of them.

Bottle and wish I'd just started in the first place as DD was so much happier (as was I) that she actually got some food rather than just screaming and refusing to put my nipple in her mouth properly!!

Alexander is a year old now, and I give him 2 bottles a day, but he breastfeeds the rest of the time, probably 4 feeds during the day, and twice at night.

Breastfeeding here. I dont think I would have it any other way. Most of the mums I know express b milk then bottle feed due to work commitments. Im curious to know how many mums are doing that here too? I had heaps of issues BFding with right nipple at the start with a cracked nipple but persisted and it all worked out well. The Australian BFding Association was helpful too. If I do switch to bottle, I think ill invest in an electric breast pump as I had trouble using my manual one. So far weve tried formula on DD1 once and she hated it.
I have to express for every feed (6-7 times a day) and I have been doing that for 4 months now!! I want to go for at least 6 months

DS is a booby boy. Having a few issues ATM, but hoping they will resolve soon, because up until the last week or two it has been awesome.
I am breastfeeding, and really enjoy feeling so close to baby. she loves it. it is cheap and convenient!
