Have any of you heard of Manuka Honey and its medical benefits? I've been reading up on it as my mil is getting it put on some ulcers that won't heal.
Anyway, I just thought I'd mention it on here because it's meant to be extremely effective for eczema also. Many trials have been done on people with all sorts of skin problems and all of them showed healing results within 24-48 hours!
My mil has had badly infected ulcers on both her legs for months, had one leg amputated last week and nothing seemed to be healing. Their last resort is trying manuka honey and although she's only had it put on the last couple of days, it all looks like it's starting to improve! Still looks bad, but was just mentioning her because this stuff seems to help the worse case scenarios!
I've just been reading how quickly it seems to treat eczema as well. Has anyone used it or have any comments about it? I can post a few medical articles on it if you're interested too! The best thing is, is that it's completely natural!
