is there something too my worrying??

I am 39weeks nearly 40 pregnant with my first child a little boy!! I have had my urine tested everytime i've had an appoitment at the hospital wether it be with a mid wife or doctor, and everytime they say my urine is good and blood pressure too.
I only noticed yesterday that my hands had swollen and my feet are swollen too, i brought this to the attention of my midwife last night and she told me its nothing to worry about. I havent been feeling myself these last couple of days, very run down, feeling like i am going to be sick, and i was just wondering if its my body getting ready or something more?

My friend had serious pre-eclampsia that wasn't picked up straight away, which resulted in an emergency c/s. If you feel concerned, you should get it checked out straight away. Demand an appointment with your dr/midwife or go straight to the emergency room.

Saying all this, it could be nothing but it is better to be sure with such a serious matter.

I don't think it is possible to overreat about something regarding pregnancy!

If you are unsure- head to your local hospital, better to be safe than sorry.

It could be something...but it could be nothing...Definatly get checked out again if you are worried, every day if you need to.

Have you been on your feet more in the last few days? I found that towards the end of both my pregnancies if I was on my feet too much then my feet and hands would swell up alot and they would take ages to go down too. My Dr told me to keep drinking heaps of water and put my feet up, (instead of doing the christmas shopping like I was trying to do before DD was born :laughing: ). As soon as bub was born the swelling went away really quickly.
