child care in the ACT

hello everyone,
I was just wondering if any of you put your children in any kind of care,
I am looking at returning to work, but cant find any care that I can afford, I want my DD to go to day care at least one day a week for the interaction but cant afford to have her there more then one day.
Does any one know of any family day care or nanny share or anything resonably cheep, preferably around the southside, any suggestions will be great. Thanks.

Hi Lexi's Mum I am looking into childcare myself for DD. My parents are going to look after DD for a while and then I will have to find some childcare. I am having some headaches too. I think it is hard to find somewhere that I would feel comfortable putting DD. I have concerns about family daycare as I would worry if other people came into the home. I am lucky as I have a while to look around but the waitlists for childcare centres are quite long too. Good luck with your search.
