Port Setephens area?

Hi I live in the Port Stephens area and really want to avoid a hospital birth this time around. So my options are:
1. Homebirth with a midwife
2. Belmont Birthing Centre

I know that BBC has great reviews but dont like the idea of the car ride which would be about 1hr. With previous birth I was in the car for 20mins and couldnt stop spewing.

Has anyone had a homebirth around the newcastle area? How would I go about booking one I dont have PHI?

I can understand your reluctance to have to be in the car for an hour!

I do not know anything about homebirths in the area but just had to say that BBC is brilliant (well except for the long car ride for you!) and that I couldn't recommend it enough. The level of care and support is incredible, it feels like I should be paying thousands to be getting looked after so well..yet it is free! :thumbsup:
