hello everyone
I'm after a bit of info about playgroups/parentsgroups in wodonga. DP is training the army at the moment and we will be moving to wodonga in late april early may. I would love to meet ppl from the wodonga area b4 i get there, so then when i get there i can start going to playgroup again. I've met some really great ppl here in canberra through playgroup, and i love our weekly catch ups.
Ne one with NE info please let me know.
Cheers neeshah:p
Hi neeshNgeorgia,
Firstly good luck with your move to Wodonga. I don't actually live in Wodonga (am in Sydney now), but grew up in nearby Beechworth.
Are you going to Bandiana or Bonegilla? Bandiana has an established community within the base that I'm sure has a play group available there. I understand that at times it can be difficult living within the extended network of the armed forces lifestyle. If you contact the Wodonga Base Hospital they should be able to put you onto the community childcare office who will also have all the relevent information to help you as well.
Another option is the Albury-Wodonga website, or the local Wodonga council website will have a list of available child care centres. I think that there may be one located near the council chambers at the rear of the main street. I have a vague recollection of my nephew visiting some sort of centre there years ago.
Best of luck. You're moving to a wonderful region with lot's of great areas to visit. PM me to let me know how everything goes if you'd like to.
Good luck,
Didijac.:D

I am in Beechworth at the moment (I live in Sydney) and I have been going to a great playgroup here in Beechworth. Depending on how far you want to travel - it is about 15-20 minutes from Wodonga. The people down this way are great so you shouldn't have any troubles finding a good group in Wodonga.
