Hi Ladies,

I am seeking some advise on becoming a doula :smiliedance: I am currently trying to decide wether to go with Optimum Birth or Childbirth International.

I was wondering if those of you who have studied these courses could share your experiences with me.

- What was the best things about the course and what could have been better?
- If you have done both course, which was better in your opinion?
- How long did it take you and how difficult did you find it with your bubs?

Furthermore to these questions I was also wondering...

- When you have been called to a birth what stategies do you have in place for the care of your children?

- What is involved leading up to the birth?

- Did you do the childbirth educator course as well and if so, what kind of work do you get in this capacity?

and finally
- Do you get any credit for this course if you do a Bachwlor of midwifery in the future?

Um, I think that is all I have for now :o
Thank you so much for any help you can offer

Hi there-

I studied with Optimum Birth and really loved the course. It was all very easy to download and clear and conscise and really interesting!

The woman who created it, Chris Vose, is a beautiful woman who is very supportive and if you have any questions she really helps you out.

I would recommend OB!

Good luck in deciding, juliet:wave:
