OB in Canberra???

Seeking recommendations (or negative experiences) for OB's in Canberra, particularly an ob who will work from Calvary hospital. Any thoughts/feedback welcome - thanks

We were very happy with John Hehir at Calvary - good, calm bedside manner and didn't rush to surgical intervention when others may have.

He delivered both of my kids. As an alternate view to Draught, he was also quite happy with my decision to have an elective c/s with my 2nd after an emergency with #1. All the way along he gave me plenty of information, but was happy for me to make my own decision.

He was referred to me in the first instance by a girlfriend who had been seeing him for gynae reasons rather than obstetric and she adored him as well.

My second choice would be Dr Armellin. I saw him once when Dr Hehir was away, and he would easily be my 2nd choice of Ob. Although I think he only works out of John James.

I am the opposite to Draught and Mrs Potts - I was warned away from Dr Hehir....

I saw Andrew Foote and his business partner Jakob Dreher. Both were fantastic, and were very minimalist with their intervention.

They work out of Calvary as well.
