how many feeds a day

just wondering my son is 7mths old and eating three meals a day but still has around 5 to 6 breastfeeds a day is that to many,how many do your babies have

My son was bottlefed, not sure how much difference that would make...but at around 7mths he was also having 3 solid meals a day and 5 full bottles of formula...and somedays he would have a mid-morning or afternoon snack too :o
I wouldn't be too worried, babies still get most of what they need from milk at that age so if he wants to drink then I reckon let him :)

Little dude is 6 1/2 months and he has 3 solids and 6 or 7 breastfeeds a day. He is only really little, so I am always offering him something to munch :)

My little girl was exactly the same don't worry about it, while it might seem like it will last forever it dosen't, shes one now having as much food as she can get her hands on and still has three breastfeds a day! ke-cera :D

Hi,
When my boys were that age they would have had at least that ammount and I can remember one day with my first baby my mum pointed out to me that it was his 12th feed for the day at around 6pm:rolleyes: I didn't care I just poped him on when ever and where ever, I think your doing a fantastic job keep it up your son will thank you for your efforts for years to come.:)
