Dr. Vich

hi guys,
i posted this abt a year ago asking if anyone has had Dr. Vich before as their ob (situated in noble park- melbourne) with only one response.
so i am trying again :)

has anyone had Dr Vich? I had Dr Lam originally as my ob- but he got sick, then as my baby stayed in breech position, Dr Vich ended up performing my c/section. I was very happy with him (although in a lot of pain afterwards). Am thinking i will go back to him for my 2nd when that happens- and have not yet decided whether to do repeat c/s or Vbac.

So am just curious as to what others experiences have been with him?? if anyone?

thank you for reply- i remember your first reply- he seems very lovely and made me feel very relaxed and checked up on my abt 3 times in hospital. I am pretty sure i will be going to him again- i mean he did deliver my first baby....

Seems like no one else has had him though??

He used to be at Werribee, and moved to the SE suburbs.

Hi Niksmum26, I chose Dr Vich as my ob for my 1st pregnancy back in 2005. It was a natural birth with no complications. I made this decision by attending a hospital tour at south eastern private hospital - noble park and Dr Vich held a brief talk that day. I got some feedback off the nurses about Dr Vich and I liked what I heard about his education and working history. He proved to be an excellent ob. He is patient and is happy to answer all questions. He was well organised and professional during delivery of the baby.Highly recommended to anyone. I would have my 2nd baby with Dr Vich tomorrow if I could but unfortunately I have moved back to Brisbane and like you am faced with finding a OB up here. My selection OB process is the same for us as it was in Melbourne, going by word of mouth and searching the internet for feedback. Best of luck, Regards, LMG
