Activities for a 7 month old?

I have a 7 month old DS and I'm wanting some suggestions on some activities for us to do...

We seem to do a lot of the same old same old everyday (on the floor mat, sitting outside in the garden, going for a walk). I need to do something else too I think. lol!!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :D

I have a 7 1/2 month old also.. We:

talk about things you do during the day eg.folding washing, making lunch, brushing hair

Sing Nursery rhymes and songs.. Its funny my DD dances everytime i sing... i don't know why my voice is shocking:laughing:

Read

We play with family dog

plastic cooking utencils are always great for them to hit, bash and chew..

drawing basic pictures on paper then showing bub...

We always dance to music in front of mirror...

We play peek a boo

Sit on the floor and play with her.. Let her climb all over me..

My DD loves to be chucked up into the air!! I can't complain i get a good work out...:laughing:

My dd is 14mnths now so im trying to remember at that age what things we did.

It was summer so we sat out in her little blow up pool and splashed about.

Sitting in those shell clams with balls and playing with those.

I brought colourful boxes with lids from the bargain store and seperated all her toys. Then i would give her a different box to rumage thru at different days of the week.

We would play with the magnet numbers and pictures on the fridge and she still does.

Peek a boo under a blanket

We would go out and swing in one of those little babies swings that hung under our decking

She also had a walker and a baby bouncer

Plastic containers to throw around the kitchen floor.

She loved watching ABC for kids dvd as it has so many nursery rhymes.

We would wander around the garden and she would play with the leaves,she loved doing that.

Sing nursery rhymes

Look at photos around the house of family members. My husbands family live far away so it was good to get her to know their faces.

Hope some of these ideas help,if i think of more ill post back later.:D
