Hi All

I am looking to start up a new Mothers Group / Playgroup for the Manly / Balgowlah area to meet some more new Mum's.

I have a ten week old little boy named Cillian. Please let me know if you are interested and we will plan to meet the end of Aug/ beginning of Sept.

Hi there, my name is Katie, I have a 2 year old daughter Zoe and a bub due in December. We have just recently moved to the northern beaches, I don't know anyone in the area and would like to meet other mothers and hopefully gain new friends for both myself and Zoe. If anyone know's of any mother's groups that are looking for new members or a playgroup in the area please let me know.

Hi Katie,

If you pop into some of the clinics in the area they often have notices on the board for play groups and mother meets etc. I know that the manly one has them up so im not sure if there is one down near collaroy. But I do know Dee Why has some groups around, and there is plenty of friendly mums & bubs around to meet. :)
I hope your enjoying the nothern beaches, it's a top place to live!!!

I thought you might be interested in National Babies Day Sat 19th Sept!

I am holding a fundraiser for The Bonnie Babes Foundation. I will be running BABY MASSAGE CLASSES throughout the day. And all proceed will go directly to Bonnie Babes.

Its a wonderful opportunity to raise money for an awesome charity and to get together with other mums!

Our family just moved to beautiful Manly last month from Dublin, Ireland.

My son is 4 months old and we haven't really had an opportunity to get to know people so far.

Hi Katie, Ive just been looki g to find a group in the area and came across this thread. did u join a mothers group on northern beaches. I've just moved to collaroy from balmain. I've a 20month year old boy and another Bub on the way in January. Interest in meetin up with other mums in the week as Finishing work next week. Susie

Hi, not sure if this thread is still active but we are moving to Balgowlah in Dec 2010 and I would love to meet up with some other mums in the area.

Our baby is not due until Feb 2011 but as I'm new to Sydney I won't know anyone!

Hi Mums,

I am new to Bub Hub and just noticed your thread looking for places to meet Mums around Manly.

I am Mum to a 11 month old boy and am also a yoga teacher. I run a class for Mums and their kids on a Friday morning in Brookvale. I started it with a group of the Mums from my own Mothers Group and it has been a really fun way to get together each week and at the same time get to do something for yourself as the yoga class is just for the Mums whilst the kids play!

I have a two year old son (feb09) and a new daughter (jan2011) I would like to meet up if your still around the area. It would be great to have someone local with a toddler too !

Hi Wendy,

The Mothers Group I belong to has babies of around 18 months of age with new ones just being born so you are welcome to join us one week if you like? We usually meet in Freshwater on a Tuesday.

Otherwise I suggest getting in touch with the Balgowlah Early Childhood Centre as they are great for connecting with other Mums :)

We have a great group on there for youngish mums.

Our Mothers Group usually meets on a Tuesday in Freshwater depending on the weather. Our babies are all about 18 months old but there is a new wave of them being born now :)

If you would like to meet up please send me a PM and I will get back to you with details. Otherwise if you are looking for younger babies in the group then try the Harbord Early Childhood Centre as they are good at connecting people.

Hi there, I live in Manly and go to various Playgroups around. There are quite a few and I have found it a great way to meet some new mums. I work part time from home and most of my mum friends work now or have moved away (Manly is very transient) so its nice to meet other mums.

You can find Manly playgroups on a new website (look by suburb and days) - it lists ones that are not on the Official Playgroup Website: http://www.babiesandtoddlers.com.au/group-activities/playgroups/?suburb=Manly

there are some good ones in Fairlight and Balgowlah as well.

Hi mums, we have just moved to balgowlah from the eastern suburbs, our little boy is a very active 16 month old. I would love to meet some local mums/ join a playgroup. At the moment i work mondays & tuesdays, tho this will change in the new year to mondays& fridays.

I go to playgroup in freshwater on tuesdays - it's a great group! The mums and kids are awesome ... I'm also just starting music playgroup in manly today so will let you know how it goes!!

It's down at st Matthews in manly, $12 for one child, $20 for two children ...
