Im not sure how my first lot of nappies were shipped as it was before their postage calculator was fixed and it was only $2. It took exactly a week for them to arrive.

I have just ordered some more and chose standard postage also....

What Melo said! They are becoming a favourite in our house! :) We've been using them for a week and had no leaks yet(we use the microfibre/hemp inserts!).

My first lot (3) I got in less than a week! I got the glitch too, so my postage was only $2.

BUT..

my second lot (8) I ordered last Friday. I paid priority post, but haven't got them yet. I worked out (as they were still on sale) that buying them, plus priority post was only about $1 per nappy more than 8 BumGenius's without post.....


I looove them. Can't wait till my next 8 arrive!! The boys butts are gonna look SOOO cute at kindy!!

I think these are great pockets. I'm not a fan of cotton print pul because I find that it doesn't last long and the cotton separates from the laminate. But I think these would last longer, really well actually, as it's polyester adhered to the laminate iykwim, not cotton... That's my theory, anyway!
I agree with someone else about the fleece being of the cheaper variety, but the colours are good and I like the style of pocket opening.

I was wondering for those of you with the side snapping ones, do the sides that come around from the back of the nappy that go under the front of the nappy to be snapped on get wee'd on?? It may be a silly question but I have a boy and he mostly wets and the front.

Nope, they don't get we'ed on (yes, Ronan has been frollicking around in Ariene's girly nappies :D He's 3- I'm not buying him his own: he can wear cloth or toilet train!)

Actually, you're right, the shape/cut of these nappies is somewhat similar to the Swaddlebees side-snap organic velour pockets IMO. I have those too- must be why I like them so much! Very trim, sit low below belly :yes: Except these aren't printed cotton, they're minky.

I got size large for my 10.5-11 kilo girl. On tightest snaps (just), the same as the Swaddlebees.

SO.. Swaddlebees are coming out in prints?! :smiliedance: The side snap organic velour pockets??!! I might have to get me one of those :D At the Wee Wuns? :detective:

Actually Swaddlebees owns Blueberries so very similar but not the same IYKWIM.

On another note i heard on the grapevine that BP's will be coming out in pockets towards the end of the year.
