I just wanted to share that last week in Sydney for work was great! DH was my manny for the week and I think he loved having a break from work and being able to just play with DD until they were both exhausted. It wasn't so great for me, but my company were fantastic about it. The hotel we stayed at upgraded us to a suite and that meant on Wed night when DD wanted to play, I kicked them out into the other room and they played/slept on the sofa bed, while I got a few hours shut eye.
DD slept through nearly every BF (11am and 3pm) during the day, so I didn't see much of her - I think DH wore her out!!
Today was her second day in daycare and after the first effort, I was really worried, but she had a great day, was the centre of attention for a lot of the other kiddies (she's such a friendly little soul) and she even drank her EBM without fuss - I'm utterly amazed!! So this afternoon I picked up a very happy and content little bubba and I don't feel like such an evil, negligent mother anymore. She hardly even noticed when I arrived to pick her up!!!
