My name is Sarah. I too am due in October, 2006!!! I was due for AF on Saturday 11 Feb, and when it didn't arrive, it looked good!! Anyway, the test was negative on Saturday. I did another test on Monday morning, which showed me the slightest hint of positive pink, so I took that as "I probably am....", then Tuesday came and the line was a little darker, and then today, I got my definate BFP!!!!
Off I went to the doctor and I am 4 weeks, 4 days pregnant with our third child.
I am due on October 21st, 2006!!
I am not suffering morning sickness as yet, fingers crossed. At this stage inboth previous pregnancies, I was, so maybe I might be lucky not to get it this time, but then maybe it will strike any minute!!

Hello all my fellow October Mummies.

Congratulations to you all !!!!!

My name is Christie and I am due to have my first bubba on the 15th October.
So far apart from a bit of tiredness I am feeling pretty good and damn proud that I am finally having the little bubba I have longed for. :D

It's so exciting to see that Big Fat Positive isnt it ? I went out and did about four tests that week as I couldn't believe it. Although the lines were faint they were definetly there.

I look forward to sharing the journey with you guys and picking up a few tips.

Christie

Hi girls, i am a little nervous to be here. Let me introduce myself. My name is Andrea dh and i started ttc in May 05. We fell pregnant in Nov 05 but sadly miscarried in Jan. the dr said to wait one cycle before ttc again. I was on cd42 and waiting for af to show so we could start again. This morning i threw up. I started getting suspicious since my temps were still up and no sign of af. Did a test this morning and got a BFP!
Its our ds 2nd birthday today too! so i will always remember!
I'm kinda scared but over the moon too! I'm due the 16th of Oct....2 months to the day after my previous due date. freaky! lol

I hope i stay here this time!!! It was hard to have to leave the August ladies.

HI All

I'm 8 weeks pregnant - yipee!! First time bub - still sounds weird saying that. ACTUALLY becoming a mum.... sounds very mature

I am not due for a scan for another 3 weeks. How come I've read that so many people have scans much earlier? I did not even have a blood test as my doctor reckons the urine tests are so accurate (I did 6 & the final 3 were positive:p )

Look forward to your responses as you dont' know what you don't know.

Shaz;)

Hi Everyone, thought I'd join in.

Fistly - Congratulations to all, its so exciting as our little miracles begin to grow.

I'm second time mum due 5th October. From doctors requests had scan already and could see the heartbeat. Sooooo Amazing. :smiliedance:

My little man is already pointing to bubba and kissing mummy's belly.

Hopefully he will handle it well. Any 2nd time mums who are worried about 1st child handling new arrival?? Or have already been through it and can give me some advice? I'm petrified! :fingerscrossed:

Hi all and CONGRATULATIONS:smiliedance:

I am now 9 weeks and have been suffering morning sickness for 3 weeks..........I have the 'poor me's' big time - I never had even a hint of ms with ds so this is a bit of a shock! I have my first hospital appt next week so have my fingers crossed they will be able to hear the heartbeat with the doppler:fingerscrossed: Especially as I'm probably not having the 12 week scan so am going to have to wait ages to see my little bubba. Can't wait to find out if it will be a boy or a girl - so exiting!!

Look forward to hear how everyone is going...........

Hi Shirley,

Congratulations on your pregnancy:) ! Welcome to bub-hub & to Australia!! I hope you and your family are settling in ok, it must be a huge adjustment for you all. My husband is from the UK - he's lived here for about 8 years now, after first coming here on a backpacking holiday. We're in Brisbane.

You should pop into the "April Thread" of the October 2006 Mummy's - it's the most recent one. There are people popping in & out there all the time.

Hope you have a nice Easter & are feeling relatively healthy ie morning sickness etc. I'm almost 16wks now (our first) & the morning sickness is finally settling down.

Will catch up with you in the April thread.

Take care.

emmiejsmith - I will eventually live North of the River (Madeley) and mum is in Currambine - so we are always up around Joondalup. My due date is 5/10.
Unfortunately my DH and I are working on the mine in Ravensthorpe at the moment but I am coming back to Perth on 20/8. I would definately be interested in catching up for a coffee - sorry it has to be so far away though. Lets keep in touch.

Anyway we are up to the July Thread now so hope to see you in there.

Bye for now
