the never-ending cough

has anyone got this never-ending cough? i've had one for weeks. it's not too bad during the day but gets worse from about 5pm. and sleeping? forgeddaboutit.

has anyone used anything or done anything that's helped this cough end????

Hi I had the never ending cough and at night it was real bad, but during the day i could handle it, and there isnt much u can take for it i was just suckin on cough lollies..

Yes !! I've had a terrible cough !

I'm only just getting over it but a few weeks ago It was really bad and I got worse at night, I had some cold and Flu tablets (cause I also had fevers) and just let it pass on It's own but It has taken a while !:)

Yes I had it a few months ago when I got sick, and it lasted for well over a month....

Nothing I done could suppress it....I just sipped water heaps, and tried to sleep propped up (like you do with a reflux baby)...it worked somewhat....

Hope it doesnt last long for you....

thanks for responses, everyone. i was hoping for the miracle cure :o

i'm sleeping propped up but i think my dp is getting sick of my coughing and spluttering.

i hope everyone else's cough clears up soon.

i have had it for 4weeks and have tried cough medicine and cough lollies but nothing helps

If it's a dry unproductive cough, try a strong cough suppressant such as Rikodeine. You can get this over the counter at a Pharmacy. Just make sure to take the correct dose.
