I was just wondering if its ok to give MJ fruit for dinner?

The reason being that i've made MJ her fave food combo which includes cauliflower which seems to give her wind & wakes her up at night. So what I was thinking of doing is switching her lunch meal of fruit & yoghurt to dinner & giving her her meat-veg combo at lunch.

Is there any problem doing it this way?

Also, while i'm here, if MJ wont at her cereal in the morning, is it ok to just give her toast?

Thanks guys

I say no problem at all.

I have an incredibly relaxed attitude toward feeding both my children and they're both very good eaters of healthy foods at nearly 2 and 3.

My son used to turn his nose up at dinner but ate lunch heartily so I switched meals and all was well in the world. Why fight it! It's not like he'll be eating fruit and yoghurt for dinner for the rest of his life. And toast is also a perfectly fine brekky. Change is good.;)

Sound fine. One of my books suggest giving bubs a fruit meal and a vegie meal, it suggest either time being fine. Babies will usually have one main meal a day - so a big lunch and a lighter dinner sounds just right. :)

My DD went off her cereal for a while and we just gave her toast and sometimes some yoghurt.

I give my daughter toast. I usually alternate one morning with weetbix, bannana, honey and milk (she loves it) the next day I give her toast either plain or with vegemite or jam.

Honestly if she wants toast give her toast !
I pretty much give bubs whatever he is in the mood for !
He loves yoghurt & would have it for every meal im sure ! So some days he has it for brekky with some toast & then he has half the amount of vegies or fruit & another yoghurt.
I switch & change all the time as it makes him happier to have the change.
He had arrowroot biccies & milk for lunch the other day !
Im not worried about which way he has his meals as long as he is happy to eat :D
