sorry i can't help i made dh cook. Maybe you could get him to cook a few meals and then freeze them. i used to hate doing the foodshopping in the fresh fish aisle,

Takeaway, cooking "a bit of what I fancied" at the time, or delegating cooking to either DH or my teenage daughter. Often I would do the vegetables, then delegate cooking the meat.

It's not easy, but it can be done. We never got to the point of "living on takeaway", and I had (all day) morning sickness up to 20 weeks.

It either was takeaway or my partner fended for himself !
I couldnt keep much down when it came to fluids let alone food itself so he would often just buy some fruit for me & kept it in a bowl in our lounge room as i couldnt even go near the kitchen without being sick. This went on pretty much the entire pregnancy. :(
My other suggestion is on your "good" days where you can manage to cook make up some casseroles or something that can be frozen & kept on hand for when its needed. My mum would do this every now & then for us which was great.
Otherwise microwave meals were another friend of my partners LOL ! :o

I hope you feel better soon :D

Hope you feel better soon and you can get your DH cooking:)

my poor dh had to eat takeaway.. but he couldnt even bring it in the house because I would be sick... maybe you could try some frozen meals... just put them in the oven... just a thought! Good luck! I dont miss having morning sickness at all!

My morning sickness lasted till 18 weeks, so I know how you feel...I found that drinking lemon water seemed to help with the morning sickness and I would cook things without meat, so I stuck to salads and pastas, pretty plain but at least I wasn't sick...

I hope you feel better soon.:)

I have heard positive things about acupuncture to help morning/all day sickness. I would definitely give this a go next time around.. I was working with adults who were incontinent while I had MS, it was hell...

What I used if I had to be around food, was to wipe a bit of the white tigerbalm under my nose (only a bit, don't burn yourself!) and I found it would effectively block my senses so I couldn't smell the food. As for the mental part, because if your like i was, just thinking of a word or a food was enough, keep your mind occupied or play some music and sing along with it - anything to avoid thinking of the food!!

You can get some home delivered foods nowadays that are really nutritious (sp?) and really yummy, they will drop them to your door once a week and you just put them in your freezer. Lite'n'easy is one that does it, I ate them when we used to work really long hours and they were just the thing.

Good luck and my sympathies are with you!!
