Reptiles wanted.... Weird i no!!!!

Hey ya guys,I no this is a weird thing to prob put on here, but just a question, we are after some pythons and lizards if anyone has any at all that they want to get rid off...That would be great they are for my brother, he loves all that sorta stuff..Thanks guys..

Hi,
in most states you need a licence to keep reptiles, so just make sure your brother has one before he keeps any reptiles, they are also quite expensive to set up properly but once setup up are quite cheap to look after, unfortunately I dont have any I want to get rid of at the moment but good luck finding some, but also be aware that people could be getting rid of them for a reason they may be aggressive etc

Hey ya,Yeah he already has a licence, yeah he knows lots about reptiles, he's very experienced in that area, he has worked with them for quiet a while now... I just wanted to suprise him with something if u no what i mean??? We have got a couple of pythons at the moment, but always on the look out for more, his also got a big interest with the monitors at the moment...So yeah also on the look out for them too...Thanks

Cool, good luck finding some, I am a vet nurse and I always have people keeping reptiles that have no idea what they are doing and the scary thing is that most the time they do have licneces, I love the monitors but they need so much space, I would love a frilled neck but nowhere to put them and the cost as well. Try ringing around your local stores quite often if someone wants to get rid of a reptile they will call pet shops etc trying to get rid of them

There are reptile clubs in most states which I think would be the best way for you to look at getting something.

Also you need to take the license with you to purchase a snake or lizard it's illegal for someone to sell a reptile without recording the license number and you can face up to 10,000 in fines per animal silly I know but thats the law Just wanted to let you know :thumbsup:
