Hi :)

I remember back in my youth (ok well in high school anyways) that you used to be able to buy packets of patterns for sewing things, like shirts, dresses etc. Now, i don't go to the shops much anymore and haven't seen any of these things lately.

Can you still get them? I don't remember the name of the main brand that I used to buy.

I inherited a sewing machine recently (woo hoo!) and would love to start sewing again.

Ooh ABSOLUTELY!!:) Patterns are still as popular as ever - Lincraft and Spotlight are the main distributors in WA - do you have these stores? They sell, Vogue,McCalls,Simplicity etc.
I was just flicking through the patterns the other day and all the new range is just what you see in the store windows - really hip and lovely and great fabrics too:p

Yep head to my fav place Spotlight they have all the huge books for you to look through & then purchase what you want !
Be warned though walking in those doors means spending lots of money !!! :D

Why not check out ebay? They have patterns on there for sale. Especially if you dont have those stores near you.

You can get some at op shops as well - very retro!! There are also some online ones depending on what you want to sew.

PS did you know there's a spotlight opening near us soon?!!
