drs appointment for feeling ill

Well i had my drs appointment today and she has sent me for numorous blood tests and a stool test :eek: so i will have the tests this arvo and when i hear the results i will let you know. Thanks to all that replied to my thread ill.

The test my dr wants me to have a stool test :eek: for giardia, blood tests for ross river virus, anemia, coeliac disease, thyroid check, liver check and a fbc.

i hope they don't find anything serious. the dr said if they all come back fine then she suspects a virus.:o

Well you guessed it all those blood tests and they found nothing, everything normal:rolleyes:

So how are you feeling now? Has things improved and are you on antibiotics?

Still feel so exhausted, nope not any antibiotics or anything for that matter. it's not so much feeling sick im am just feeling like crap due to the headaches, exhaustion etc:(

Lucky you found out you didn't have giardia. I have had that, took nearly a year to find out what I had, but it was the post painful thing I have ever gone through, could not handle the stomach cramps. I ended up in hospital casue they thought it was my appendix, so they removed them, and for no reason at all. Just needed to take 4 tablets and it was gone with in two weeks.

well by the sound of it im glad i too didn't have giardia. The weird thing is , i know this is going to sound stupid but i am certain im pregnant even though the tests say im not, hpt. I mean all the symptoms i have mentioned and my belly though chubby is starting to look rounded in clothes wth.:rolleyes: . I am worried as i am still taking the pill and if im right then i would hate for deformaties etc because of me.:confused:

i told you stupid hey, but with my second i knew i was preg though it took 5 test to get a pos hmt and i wasn't as far as i thought, i must have known i was preg from time of conception.

im having a crap day. i have only been awake 2 1/2 hrs and im nackered:(
