Ear Thermometers

Does anybody use the thermometers you put in bubs ear??
What age can you use them from?
What is the best one to get?

i have an omron one, bout $70 i think its good :yes: got a free baby toy too. think its suitable from any age?

I have a Braun, and I'd save my cash, TBH.

I can't get an accurate reading on me - varies over 0.5 degree from my left to right ear.

On teenage DD#1, it reads 36.4 when she has a fever of 40.1 using a digital thermometer under her tongue.

I have returned to using a $15 digital thermometer.

yeah i'd save your money too. I have the omron one and always gives a different reading so i don't rust it. But while i was out shopping today i was in big w and saw a forehead thermometer. It worked just like the ear one but you just press it on the forehead. I think it woud give a more accurate reading. It was about 70 dollars

hmm mine is fine. i have a normal digital one and its the same on both :confused: its so much easier for my kids than waiting forever for the under arm one...
and hospys use ear ones...

I have one.. and agreeing about saving your money.. I went back to my old under the arm digital after getting totally inaccurate readings, its not once got close to an accurate temp.

The worst $70 I ever spent with my bubs.
