Looking for trainee Doula in Melbourne!

Hi there
My husband and I are very keen to utilise the services of a Doula but finding that the cost is a little out of our reach...if there are any student Doulas out there in the Melbourne area we are due to give birth 7th of November and will be birthing at Freemasons in Victoria Pde East melbourne....if you can help let me know

Have you also thought about having a student midwife if you cannot get a student doula? Just a thought.

No I hadnt thought of that - will get on and do some research now!

I wish I had, had the support of a student doula or student midwife during my pregnancy. I am sure it will make a big difference.

i would love student doula or midwife just for that extra one on one attention which is a little more personal (as they are there for me not the hospital etc if that makes sense)

Looks like i might have to just train hubby up a little more :D
