Nah, I lie, I just wanted you to read this...
It should be called getting it off..
And we are talking about poo here :D
Little dude started on solids and of course he poos have changed. I am used to lovely little "easy wipe" BF poops.
How on earth do I get these new wonders off? It sticks to him and I can't wipe it off. I don't use wipes, just cotton buds and water, so I guess I am going to need some new arsenal.
Every time dude has pooped I have had to wash it off with a cloth in the shower . But surely there is an easier way?
hey hon ( I HAVE noticed that my last PM to you WASN:T returned :p wheres my mail??? )
nice thread title!!!! :)
I lot of cloth users use pieces of flannel with water ... but unless you are using cloth nappies they would be a pain to wash...
what about using the boxes of nappy liners you can buy... there are 100 in a box and the cost about $5 I think??? you just get them from woolies... (you could probably cut them all in half and get 200 if you had the energy?? they look like chux cloths... they are what we use on Jack's butt...
might have more 'friction' than cotton buds??? :D
good luck!

Tee hee, dirty little bugger, I should have known that the title would catch YOUR eye ;).
Thank you, friction is what I need . I shall purchase some nappy liners tomorrow...
I wrote you a pm but the computer went bung and I lost it. I can't stand having to rewrite things so I just gave up.
I am such a child :D.
what ??? me???? a dirty mind??? no .. never :D
- hope the nappy liners work... Jack has formula type poos (they are sticky like peanut butter TMI? ) ... and we just keep a squeeze bottle of water and a pile of them handy (we wash them with his nappies though... get LOTS of use out of them :) cause we're CHEAP :D )
(sigh) guess I'll stop waiting for my PM then :p

I am in the same boat poo, bf and solids wise.
BUT I am one of those hippy cloth users but not a complete purist because I use J & J nappy liners and the poo seems to peel straight away with the liner so all is good more or less.
The one thing that I was really surprised about with my boy was how hard little scrotum's are to clean. Mind you I never gave it any previous thought. :o
I find when it gets all tough to clean off (boy oh boy is it fun to have a boy) that a smear of vaseline over the area and then its much easier to wipe off with just a regular baby wipe.
I love vaseline..magic stuff :)
