DD does painting at daycare, and has since she was 12 months, I tried it at home though and would NOT recommend it. Paint went everywhere.

She has also done some collages at daycare.

They take a piece of clear contact (20cm x 20cm) and stick little bits of coloured paper on. I havent tried this at home though after the attempt at painting.
