OK this is a stupid question I admit :o

I won a fitted nappy on Ebay a few weeks ago, and went to use it today. Read the tag & says that it is;

Inner layer - 100% cotton
Liner - 65% polyester 35% rayon
Shell - 100% PVC
Outer Layer - 100% terry

Would that make it an AIO?

Thanks

Doesn't sound like an AIO as it doesn't have absorbancy material sew into it. SOunds like a fitted. Does it have a name on it??
Can you post a link of a pic of it, so we can see?

Its a Little Hugs & Kisses Brand. I dont think its a AIO, just thought i'd ask seeing as its got a PVC Shell.

Thanks for that. See i told you it was a silly Question :p

Goes to show how much I know.. I was going to say it does sound like an AIO! (All In One, Rachel ;)).

If it has a waterproof outer and no pocket, isn't that an AIO?

It's and All In One. It's a cloth nappy that has the booster sewn into it so you don't have to add any.

AND a waterproof outer, right K? So you basically don't need to add anything.. it's.. well... all in one. :o

Some have water proof outers, some don't. If they don't you need to put a cover on top such as fleece, PUL or wool.

oh ok.. Well RB, this has been a learning experience for both of us! I always thought to be an AIO it meant it had everything, including the waterproof outer. So basically, as long as all the boosting is sewn into the nappy it's an AIO. Gotcha! ;)

I think it's what they call an almost all in one, as per nappycino definitions...

Yes it's definately an all in one, I have some of those ones....they are ok. I don't really use them now that I have my tots bots.

How are you finding the Tots Bots Jazz? Just curious... I have an order for 6 of them that I haven't paid for yet. :o I'm undecided since I think I prefer pockets... would love some feedback.

Sorry to hijack your thread RB.

I'm a member of nappycino and didn't even know that page was there HL. I just go straight to the forum. So RB and C we both learnt something new today. LOL

Hey cosmic!
They are great, but just a little on the expensive side, I have ordered some of the bamboozles too so I can't wait to try them! The tots bots and ezy nappies are my favourites over everything else in my *collection* LOL! Oh I also have a bubba nature pocket nappy which is fantastic too....
opps....got carried away:o

Either way, I wouldn't use it because the shell is PVC which means that it doesn't breathe and will create a sauna effect inside the nappy.

Thanks for the help ladies :) I just wish i could pick up a cheap decent fitted cloth nappy to convince DH that they are worth the money :(

Dont think i will use it, it only cost me $7 with postage for that,200 liners, & some lotion samples.

RB, if you keep buying $7 nappies trying to get a good one, you might as well have spent $20 on a good one! But you know that.. ;) Surely compared with disposies they are worth it!

Thanks Jazz... I am loving the look of those bamboozles too! I think I will end up with some of them before too long. :o

What I meant buy a cheap decent one, is that hopefully i can pick up a good brand at a good price on Ebay one day. I've got one fluffies fitted that i got at Big W which is crap, and the other one I asked about was a last minute bid that i one. I won the auction for $2.25 :p All i wanted was the liners which are worth tripple that atleast.

I'll have to keep my eyes open :)

RB - Keep an eye on the baby bloomers pocket nappies on ebay under the username leosipios they are pretty good i have two which i havent had a major drama with yet. The lady is quite willing to wait till you win other items of her if that how you wanted to do it as she combines postage saving you money.

I have a Baby bloomers and it is quite good, her inserts are pretty good. There has been some Green Nappies back on ebay. I got a Dreamytimes - light purple, can't wait to get it.
