I was wondering when your babies started to giggle.
My daughters just turned 3mths. although she is a extremly happy baby she hasnt started to giggle yet. I was told that they start around 3mths.
My sister was also told about 3 months (her bub is about 3months at the moment and isn't yet either).
My DS started about 6weeks and I was told this was early - when asked how he did it - I said that I was playing round with him lying on his back and tickling his lips with his toes (why? -because he could and he was smiling with it). Anyway - he started to giggle with it and to this day if he brings his toes to his mouth he'll laugh. Guess it depends on what tickles their fancy.:)

Ive heard its around the 3mth mark also but my bubs never giggled out loud properly until around the 5 or 6mth mark he would have a smile on his face & "look" like he was giggling but there was no noise only this strange eeerrrr noise was rather weird LOL but then one day he just giggled ! Was adorable heheh.
Every baby is different try not to stress if she is smiling then thats really all you need to worry about for now :)
EJ has yet to make actual giggling noises (11 weeks) she did one about 6 weeks but then hasnt done it since. Her giggle at present is more a big grin while wiggling her body and a happy squeal usually before lol

I think Ava first giggled at about 3months. Maybe a little bit later. I think the first time she laughed was when DH got right in her face & stuck his tongue out! It took ages for me to make her giggle because I was laughing so hard at her every time she did it! It still makes me laugh!
Sometimes she will giggle at anything & sometimes we have to work hard to get a giggle. The other day, she was giggling like crazy every time I said the word "bellybutton"! Must be a funny sounding word to a 5 month old baby!
