How did you know??

Just wanted to get some feedback from women who guessed they were pg before af was due.

Before I found out I was pg with DD I was so sure that I wasn't pg that I stopped taking folate so my intuition is way off the mark.

Did you "know" that you were pg before af was due? If so what was it that gave it away??

Would love to hear your story.

I knew with DD that I was PG about a week before I tested and I hadnt missed AF yet...I dont know what it was that made me think I was PG...there was just something different about me..I felt like something was changing..I was a smoker back then and all of a sudden I couldn't smoke anymore, I couldnt even stand the smell of it. It was like I just woke up one morning and things smelt and tasted so much different than they did the day before.

The only different thing was that I was a POAS addict, yet the day of testing came and I diddnt test, did not even think about it till I logged onto the "Testing in March" thread.. and went, Oh, the 6th, I should have tested yesterday..

It was a huge hint, cause usually I test like 6 times leading up to the test date! to forget to test was like forgetting to put pants on in the morning! I knew my brain was elsewhere! (was still shocked as Heck when teh 2 lines came up thou!)

Kristi H - no I am guessing that once again I am not pg this month but I was wrong last time and was hoping to be wrong again. My sense of smell was extraordinary during my pg as well however I didn't notice it until later on.

I knew with my 2 it was just a feeling I had when I took the tests I knew in my haert they where gonna be positive.

I just felt different. I had been pregnant before and had a mc last year but it was different. I had what I am now sure was implantation cramping. I went to my chinese herbalist on the monday of the 2nd week in tww. He said how are you and I said I feel pregnant..I just feel odd. I tested positive on Thursday very feint positive on Tursday night and oculdnt sleep alnight thinkgin I would wake up go to the loo and find af. But nope and that was over 6 weeks ago now.

i dont see you in the march due in thread - where are you?

i didnt know i was pg - just waited for af to arrive from cd26 and when af didnt arrive on cd32 i tested and got my bfp.

i think that i might just be because i didnt want to get my hopes up (for fear of dissapointment and a mc as i had one last year.) now im almost 7 weeks pg and going for my first scan on friday morning to see my bub and hear the little heart beating away.

Dejeane - I am the same as you were. I try not to think that I might be pg as I will get really disappointed if I'm not.

India - can you tell me what was involved with the chinese herbalist.
