OK I was going to make waffles for DH & the recipe says I need 1.5cups cream, which I dont have & i'm too lazy to go to the shops :p
I do have some thickened cream....can I mix that with milk to substitute? If so, what quantaties?
Ta ladies :D
I always use thickened cream in my cooking - never knew there was a difference!
(well, knew that there was canned cream and cooking cream and light cream, but thought that all cream that you got at the shops was thickened!)

hehe good point. I thought it would be asking for pure cream.
Oh well, will do them maybe on the weekend & see how it goes :D:D

Thickened cream will be fine. No need to add milk..
Just a tip also, you can get little cartons of long life cream which are great to have on hand in the cupboard.. I always have a few in there now, Great when i want to to some baking or chuck together a potato bake..
Good for me cos i dont have to plan ahead and it wont be off before i use it.. :D
