Hi everyone

I have looked through this forum looking for another toddler like Lachlan but struggle to see anything like it. I know I shouldn't be complaining but our son has the strangest palate for an 18 month old.

In the last 6 to 9 months we are yet to find something he won't eat. Apart from your everyday foods, Lachlan will happy eat prawns, squid, mussels, crayfish, kangaroo, brie, camembert, blue vein cheese, olives, anything with garlic. We now have fun of trying to find a food that he will reject but no luck so far. We just hope that this continues throughout childhood.

We would love to hear from other parents with similar stories.

I've got 2 boys, aged 4 and 19mths and they love their savoury food too!
Jesse's fussy but does/always has loved his olives, anchovies, salami, pickled herring...anything with salt really!
Lucas eats anything and everything (and lots of it)...we haven't been able to find a food that he dislikes yet either....as soon as I call out "yum yums" he's the first one at the table saying, "mmmmmm" before he's even tasted anything!
The guy who owns our local pizza/pasta restaurant loves it when we come in for dinner...he just stands there astounded at how much Lucas can put away and the types of foods he'll try...he sits us at the front door so people can see Lucas "mmmmm'ing" away...he says it's good advertising!:D

Ds is the same, I haven't found anything he won't eat. I even find him sucking on little rocks when he is out in the garden

I think he eats at least twice as much as me!

Thanks Everyone

I was starting to wonder about Lachlan, but I am pleased to here other children eat such a diverse range of foods.

Here's hoping it continues for many years to come.
