hiya i just thought it was time to tell my story:) it all started when i was 32 weeks pregnant i hadnt felt movement for 24 hours or so, so i went to the doctor and he put the dopler on my belly the heart beat was their and fine but he decided to take extra precautions and sent me to the hospital to moniter the movement of my baby and his heart rate he had a sinasoidal heart ratewich is very rare doctors dont ever really see it. At this point i was fed up,cranky and hungry and had no clue what was going onthey bought a tray of food in wich of course i started eating and a nure walked in and said you havent eaten any food have you ? i was like yes why and she tells me im getting flown by plane to perth to have a emergancy c-sec i burts into tears i was only 17 and scared to pieces i got to perth and was sorounded by doctors they took a sample of my blood and found out my poor baby had bled into me. so i was wealed into the opp thearter put under ansthetic and didnt wake up for 4 hours after in that time my baby came out blood was deliverd to the theater but it was cold ? they didnt have time to warm it up so they took blood straight out of my arm and injected it into his belly cord wich has only been done once or twice in the hospital history, he went from white as a sheet and transparent to pink and taken to scn the odds were against us for him to live wen my mum talked to the doctor he had tears in his eyes and told her he has never expirenced this and will proble never again my son kurt had a Fetal Meternal Hemorage wich has only been a few cases in the world apparently and every story that in recorded over the net the babys have died, and was the sickest baby in the nursery and close to death a week later he was in number 2 nursery and 2 weeks later we were home i was told half more hour and he would have died he is a perfect 4month old in brilliant health smiling and baby talking with only one concern of his hearing thats nothing.
sorry its so long, any mummys expecting always go to the doctor and hospital if you dont feel movement because alot of doctors would have sent me away after hearing the heart beat if it wasnt for my brilliant doctor kurt wouldnt be here todayValentine
