I dont' blame you for being apprehensive - a baby is a big change, but if you are pg you'll cope better than you think! I don't think it will necessarily ever feel like "the right time" but sometimes babies decide it's a case of "coming ready or not"!! Let us know how things go for you ..... you can always get some support at bubhub :)
My df cant wait any longer to find out so his just left to drive half hour a way to the 24 hour chemist ill let everyone know the result tomorrow

Yay Jen! Good luck with everything (keep me posted!).
My major early symptom was smelling EVERYTHING. It was disgusting. I do hope this doesn't head your way (though it does wonders for keeping you away from unhealthy foods! lol).
My line on my test was pretty strong...it came up in about a second and was as bold as the other line. I was 5 weeks preg.
How far along are you Jen? Any ideas yet?

My was barely visible to which is why i wanted to get the blood test,i knew within myself that i could of been pregnant just wasnt 100% sure but now we know FEMALES are right when it comes to there bodys
SassyMummy i have counted about 2-3 weeks but my new doctor reckons around 4 weeks so have to wait until i get my appointment at the hospital - it sucks atm cause my tummy is flabby (just lost all my weight) im waiting for it to go round im giving it until friday if it doesnt happen by then i wont be happy !

Lol...my stomach didn't start getting "round" until about 5 months (I just looked a bit fat up until that point) and even then...I didn't look very pregnant! So good luck giving it until Friday! :D hehe
When is your appt at the hospital? Around 12-ish weeks? (That's just when I had my first hospital visit). If you're lucky, you might get to hear it's heartbeat (for me, that was the most amazing thing...the first time you get to actually get a sense of your baby being in there...).
Keep me informed! I've only been pregnant once, so I don't know too much about it...but still...if I can help out with knowledge...I'll try. And plus...I just want to know (I kinda miss being pregnant so maybe I can live vicariously through you for the time being). lol.
I know I know it was wishful thinking ! I have a app at the hospital at around 10 weeks (cause of my stupid op a few years back they have got me real scared with some of the things they have said) I hope i do hear a heartbeat :) DO they let family members come in with u for ulrtasounds if so how many can come in ?
You miss being pregnant i think ur the first person ive heard say that.LOL at least u have been pregnant and u know what to expect ! im freaking out at every little thing thinking something is wrong but it turns out its normal
I shall keep u informed of everything

All I did while I was pregnant was worry...(and whinge and cry...lol...god knows why I miss it!)...and my mother reassures me that I'll NEVER stop worrying...lol. Great.
Generally though, things will be fine. I'm sure they will be. I don't want to say, "You're young" as if age is a safeguard against problems...but they DO increase with age so hopefully you'll be alright.
When I had an ultra-sound my mother and partner came in. A few extra people wanted to come along but I was told only 2 allowed. I didn't want anyone else anyway...they would have just annoyed me. (I was a cranky mother-to-be). Ring up the hospital and they'll let you know how many if you have lots of people wanting to come in (that you actually WANT to be there).
When I heard the heartbeat for the first time, I was told I was "lucky" because a lot of the time you have to wait until bub is a bit older to hear it. So if they do try to hear it, and you don't hear it, don't freak out - it's probably just a bit early. You're sure to hear it the next time around!
