Hi everyone,

well as some of you know i did a home pregnancy test on friday and it was a BFP,

just came back from the doctors, he did a pregnancy test there on the spot,

there was a line there but it was faint, alot lighter then the home pregnacy test's.

Just wondering if the doctors test's are lighter or is it something else.

going tomorrowmorning for a blood test and he said he can have the results by tomorrow afternoon.

The same thing happened to me. You can get a false negative but not a false positive, so if you saw the line at home then you're going to have a baby.

The doc did a blood test and said that I was pregnant but not as far along as I had thought.

Wow!! I think you may be preggers!!

When I went to the doc's I did their test and my doc said, "no, you are not pregnant". The line hadn't shown up. I told her to wait a few more minutes, and sure enough, a little line appeared. Faint, but it was there.

She said that I was prolly pregnant! Blood test later confirmed that I was.

Fingers crossed but it's sounding good!!

Hmm weird I have no idea my DR just did a blood test..
I'd say you are pregnant judging by the one you showed here :D

The Dr's ones can be different to the hpt's. From the look of the one you showed us your pregnant. Teh blood test tomorrow should confirm it.

Hello

I had 2 hpt's and went to the doc to confirm the pregnancy (by this time AF was about a week late). It was negative, but a blood test taken at the same time came back with hcg levels of 256...don't worry too much about the urine tests - it took 6 tests for me to show I was pregnant!!

Dont worry! I was almost a week past my period before i got the FAINTEST positive!!! I went running out to show Steven and he said he didnt know how I could see it! LOL It was darker by lunch and darker the next day...yep I took 3....by the time I got to the Dr the next day, she said no need to do another test....3 positives make a POSTIVE! LOL

Hi Nicky,

When I did my HPT, I did them 2 days in a row and the 2nd one was lighter than the first. As I was still only 9-10dpo (ie AF not even due yet!) I was worried but when I went to the doc, she said 'don't be silly.. a line is a line'. She also didn't even bother to do a urine test since she said I'd done 2 so why waste another one! She just sent me straight off for a blood test which confirmed what we knew.

You're pregnant. We all saw the line. :)

i think you are all right,
and my doctor who i have been going to since i was a little girl is away on holidays for 2 weeks so i just went to a local doctor , who at first after about 1 mins said its negative, then after about 3 mintues he says ,
oooooohhhh theres a faintline then it got abit more but he still kept saying it was faint.

well tomorrow morning at 7am ill be getting my blood test done,
he told me that by the afternoon he should have the results,

hope he gets them sooner hehehe

Hi Nicky, it sounds to me like you are definately preg! The same thing happened to me - but a line is a line no matter how faint!:) I had the blood test done the same day and yep - confirmed I was pg, only about 5 weeks along though, hence why the line was so faint!

The blood test will confirm it. I went to the doctor after getting a feint positive at home and went to the doctor's surgery where only 1 line appeared and here we are 23 weeks pregnant! GL.

hi everyone, i went this morning at 7am to do the test now its the waiting thats killing me hahaha,

they told me they we fax over the result sometime this afternoon.

i feel like ringing him from midday :eek: hahaha.

There is no doubt you are pregnant. You know I think its a conspiracy, the pregnancy test people know if the first one is a faint line we will go out and buy more and more ROFLMAO, see their not silly ;

Always had a faint line with mine, and as you can see all those faint lines turned into little human beings :)

We'll crack open a bottle of Maison when you get your blood results back this afternoon :D
