Not Sleeping Long Enough

Hey.

My DS only cat naps during the day.. its driving me insane :hair:. He is such a fantastic well behaved bub apart from not sleeping for very long. I dont know what to do to increase his sleep time... Its not normal how he sleeps for such a short time. ANy suggestions would be VERY much appreciated..

My DD2 was exactly the same at that age and has only just started to have longer sleeps at 6 months of age. She's in a routine with breast feeds and solids and a sleep in between.. The only suggestion I have is that I waited to put her down until she was really tired - let her have a good awake / play time after her feeds and she started sleeping longer.

Is bub better for you at night?

my DS always catnapped too, still does at 8mths most days! Like your bub he is happy otherwise so i've learnt to realise that as long as he is happy i've let it be ....... he has always been awesome at night so that helped me not worry too much about the day!

hahah yeah fortunately he is a good sleeper at nite... i just wish he would sleep for longer during the day so i can get more things done lol..
